09.18.25 Finding Our Dream RV: A 2017 39-foot Keystone Montana 3661RL –

When we decided to sell our home and buy an RV we didn’t think we’d find “the right one” right away! But we did.

Kendal found a 2017 Keystone Montana for sale in Crystal Springs, Mississippi, on an RV sales site called Pop Sells. The photos and description made both of us want to see it in person. We made an appointment and drove the 103 miles to see what would turn out to be our future home!

The long drive was worth it because we both liked it in person even more than online. It was very spacious and pretty. We could easily picture ourselves living there.

Some of the features we love are:

5 slide outs

Outside kitchen and television

Fireplace in the living room

Living room fan (few RVs have fans)

Pantry

Two sofas

Residential refrigerator

The wood tones are beautiful

Washer and dryer

Generator

We couldn’t buy it until we had the money from the house sale, but that didn’t stop us from wanting it. We often looked up pictures of it online and dreamed. We checked out many others online, but none were just right for us like that Montana was. Even other same make and model fifth wheels weren’t as right for us as that one.

Then the house sold quickly. We had waited till it was under contract and made our official offer on the Montana. We went back and forth a little and finally agreed on a price. They also agreed to bring the RV to us on the day of the sale. For a fee of course, but it freed us up from continuing to look for a monster truck to tow it with!
