12.12.25 Celebrating Thanksgiving with Loved Ones, the McDaniel’s and Chauvin’ s

I am working on this post right now,

Kendal has a wonderful and loving family. I enjoy being with them immensely.

Kendal’s family and his younger brother Oliver’s family

We gathered with them on Thanksgiving at his son Keith’s home in Slidell. Keith and his wife Debbi are always gracious hosts. I think that on this occasion they outdid themselves!

Jessica, Ryan and Cassidy, Keith and Debbi, Lindsey, George and Posie

Their two granddaughters presence (our great granddaughters) are at the top of the list of what made this gathering so special. I fell in love with young Cassidy the first time I met her when she was 2! She is now almost 6 and being with her gets better and better! Our precious Posie is 8 months old now, is always smiling or giggling and is the prettiest little girl! Seeing her grow is a blessing! Kendal and I love them both so much and cherish each time we get to be with them!

David, Lyn and their son Christian. Emily could not be with us for Thanksgiving.

Kendal’s younger brother Oliver and his family joined us. Oliver’s wife Jill passed away this year. I hope that they were able to heal a little being surrounded by so much family love. The saying, the more the merrier is so true when both families are together.

Now that I’ve gushed over the little ones we’ll return to Thanksgiving!

This family cooks some of the best food ever! I left in so much stomach fullness it wasn’t funny! The food was so delicious it was worth any weight gain we might have had!!

We eat in their garage which is big enough to handle all of us in one place. Debbi and Cassidy decorated the table runners with pinecones and sunflowers! Kendal and I got to sit in the “comfy” chairs since we’re old! Isn’t it grand getting old!

I love hearing them talk about old family memories that I wasn’t here for. I learn more and more about why this is such a close and loving family.

Here’s all the other pictures I couldn’t fit above!

Well that’s it for our McDaniel family Thanksgiving. Already looking forward to Christmas!

We also had a wonderful time with Chad and Chip’s families on Saturday here at the park. This was a first time visit for some of them. I think lol they saw why we love living here. We rode them around the park in our new golf cart and it was nice to show them the whole place. My youngest granddaughters enjoyed decorating Christmas tree ornament cookies and as always Buddy loving having them visit! We really enjoyed our time together!

Ya’ll come back now, ya’ hear!!

Reach out to someone in need this week!

Let others see Jesus in you this week!

Have a Blessed Week!

Be His light in the darkness this week!
