Democrats have spent the Trump years acting like every executive order, every speech, every press conference and every social media post is the beginning of the end of the republic.
The volume is always at maximum. The panic is always immediate. The outrage is always described as unprecedented.
At some point, even their own supporters have to wonder how much longer they can keep this up.
The political cartoon gets at the obvious problem. Democrats and their media allies are already slumped over in exhaustion, surrounded by the wreckage of their own nonstop hysteria, and Trump still has more than two years left in office!
That is a long time to remain permanently furious.
Every Trump move is treated like a five alarm emergency, even when the action is legal, popular or completely ordinary.
Cable news panels hyperventilate, Democrat politicians race to microphones and activists declare that democracy has suffered its final blow, again.
Then the next day arrives, Trump does something else and the entire outrage machine resets.
This is not healthy politics. It is emotional theater.
Democrats have trained their base to believe that calm is weakness and perspective is betrayal.
Their media partners reward the most dramatic reaction, the darkest prediction and the loudest accusation.
The result is a movement that appears unable to distinguish between a policy disagreement and a national catastrophe.
Maybe they should try something radical.
Take a breath. Go outside. Turn off cable news for an afternoon.
Not every Trump decision requires a vigil, a protest march or a panel discussion featuring six people talking over one another.
Politics matters, but people who treat every headline like the apocalypse eventually lose credibility. They also exhaust themselves and everyone watching.
Trump is not going anywhere tomorrow. The country is not ending tonight. Democrats may want to pace themselves.
They still have a very long way to go.

ROSALYN; I don’t think they can. This may have been written by someone else, but these are the thoughts I, and other clear-thinking conservatives, have every day. I am hoping when they read this article, those who follow me and are Left wing Democrats will think about how they are because it is how they are seen. I can only shake my head when they make statements that are clearly party line statements. They don’t seem to think for themselves, they follow liberal media and believe everything Chuck Shumer says. I am always surprised when the Democrats that I know say something clearly incorrect because I know they are intelligent people, but very misguided. America is too important to us, for them to let their unnecessary hatred for President Trump guide their words, thoughts and actions like they have been doing.
President Donald Trump, many Americans are grateful for your willingness to serve, for the countless hours devoted to your responsibilities, and for the sacrifices that leadership requires. Your supporters recognize the effort, commitment, and determination that public service demands.
