09.19.26 A great day for the McDaniel family

September 19th was a great McDaniel family day!

Two very special events were enjoyed by our McDaniel family today! A marriage vow renewal and our newest great grandbaby’s gender reveal party!

The day was beautiful and full of.sunshine when the Marriage Vow Renewal of Keith and Debbi McDaniel began.

With two grown married children, two granddaughters and one grandbaby on the way, Keith and Debbi desired to renew their marriage vows that were originally shared 38 years ago.

Family and friends gathered in the couple’s beautiful back yard, to witness this special ceremony officiated by Keith’s sister Lyn. Their son Ryan proudly walked Debbi down the aisle.

Our granddaughter is expecting her second baby! Following the vow renewal ceremony was a gender reveal party for our newest greatgrandbaby, Keith and Debbi’s newest grandbaby.

I’ve been asked not to reveal the gender for now, so guess what! We know and you don’t!

Once we all calmed down a bit Kendal, Buddy and I excused ourselves and took a much needed nap. After all, our LSU Tigers took on the Rebels of Old Miss in the highly appreciated return of our coach, Lane Kiffin to his old school Ole Miss in Oxford, Mississippi. Supporting our LSU Fighting Tigers was going to require all the vim and vigor we could muster up!

The family that remained at Keith and Debbi’s home for the game was all decked out in LSU purple and gold!

I have no words to express the disappointment from that loss so…… enough of that.

We spent a very restful night at their beautiful home in Slidell and then returned to our very quiet home in Livingston to start a new week in the lives of Kendal, Rosalyn and Buddy Don McDaniel!

Life has been stressful lately and this weekend was just what the doctor ordered to get back on the right track! Thanks to our McDaniel family and our Trinity family for a wonderful weekend of love, laughter and faith!
