All it took was a pair of scissors, a sheet of paper dolls, and a little patience…
…and suddenly an entire afternoon was spoken for. ❤️
Those tiny folded tabs could turn one doll into a dozen different lives. Church dress, school dress, party dress — all spread out across the rug while a child sat there completely lost in her own little world.
No batteries.
No noise.
No expensive gadgets.
Just imagination doing all the work.
That’s what made childhood so special back then. The simplest things could hold your attention for hours, and somehow they never felt small at all.
Paper dolls weren’t just a toy.
They were quiet afternoons, careful little hands, and the sweet kind of fun that only children with big imaginations truly understood.
What a simple childhood we enjoyed!
Ya’ll come back now, ya’ hear!
